Techno Holdings Corp., the parent company of 10 subsidiaries across six industries, is expanding into health, beauty, and wellness as it celebrates 35 years of operations. Founded in 1990 by chair William “Bill” Stelton, who also heads The Bistro Group, the company has long been focused on improving lives through its diverse businesses.
Techno Holdings Corp. operates in food service equipment, lighting solutions, fitness, turf care, wellness, food and beverage, and hospitality. Its portfolio includes brands such as Karada, Steltz International, HKR Equipment Corp., The Turf Company, Miss Esthe, Stelton Dermascience, Express Relief, and Finix Corp.
This year, it plans to strengthen its presence in health and wellness with the launch of two Japanese brands: Phiten and Nora.
“As the parent holding company, Techno Holdings’ subsidiaries are diverse, not competing, but complementary, catering to a wide spectrum of lifestyle needs,” said Mylene Manlogon, vice president for business development.
Among its subsidiaries, Steltz International imports lighting solutions, while The Turf Company provides maintenance solutions for golf courses, resorts, and sports estates. HKR Equipment Corporation supplies food service equipment to restaurants, hotels, bakeries, and hospitals.
Techno Holdings also promotes healthy living through Finix Corp., which supplies fitness equipment, and Stelton Dermascience, an aesthetic clinic. Karada, another brand, offers body alignment services rooted in Japanese techniques and operates more than 19 branches nationwide, including its affordable Express Relief chair massage outlets.
Miss Esthe, a Japanese skincare salon franchise, also brings Japanese beauty methods to the local market.
“Japan is known for credibility, and Stelton is a big fan of Japanese quality,” said Lilet Martinez, VP for Operations.
The upcoming Nora Salon and Nora Lab, set to open this August, will offer Japanese hair care services and training for hairstylists. Phiten will open its first store in Shangri-La Plaza Mall in August and launch the first Phiten IP (Inner Power) Salon outside Japan by late 2025. Phiten offers health products like necklaces, tapes, and apparel, along with relaxation and recovery services using advanced equipment.
Techno Holdings aims to expand its business-to-business and consumer operations.
“In the next five years, we hope to double up on existing stores, enhancing our presence in the country,” the company said.
The company credits its success to the skills and expertise of its people, which it sees as central to delivering quality products and services.
