TP in the Philippines (formerly Teleperformance), a digital business services provider, said renewable energy now accounts for 63% of its total electricity use nationwide in 2025, up three percentage points from 60% in 2024.
Citing its 2025 TP Impact Report, the company said the increase shows steady progress in shifting to cleaner power across its 26 sites in the country.
“Our transition to renewable energy is no small feat, but it reflects our commitment to acting as a responsible and sustainable organization,” Rahul Jolly, CEO, TP in the Philippines, said. “The three percent increase in our renewable energy consumption within a year showcases how our deep commitment to sustainability translates into real and measurable results.”
The company also reported a 52% cut in total carbon dioxide emissions, with emissions intensity at 0.25 tCO₂e per full-time employee. This marks a 77% improvement from its 2019 baseline, indicating continued reductions in environmental impact alongside business growth.
TP said infrastructure upgrades have supported its sustainability efforts. Several sites operate in LEED-certified buildings, including facilities in McKinley, Aura, and Vertis North, while Alabang Plaza E and Alabang Vector 3 sites are both LEED and EDGE certified. These buildings are designed to lower energy use through efficient cooling systems, optimized layouts, and responsible water management.
The company’s climate roadmap aligns with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), supporting global goals under the Paris Agreement. TP aims to source 50% of its energy from renewables globally by 2026 and 80% by 2030. It also targets a 56.7% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions and a 27.5% cut in Scope 3 emissions by 2030, using 2019 as the base year.
Beyond energy sourcing, TP said it has optimized IT infrastructure, expanded circularity programs, and donated used IT equipment. It also continues to roll out its Cloud Campus model, which reduces commute-related emissions while maintaining operations.
TP in the Philippines is also working with government and private partners to expand its clean energy use. The company collaborates with Aboitiz Power to supply renewable energy to its Sucat and Bacolod sites under the Green Energy Option Program. It also participates in the annual Earth Hour campaign across all its locations.
