Digital business services provider Teleperformance (TP) has secured ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications for all 28 of its sites nationwide, reaffirming its focus on employee well-being and environmental responsibility.

The certifications, issued after a two-month audit by global inspection firm Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS), validate TP’s compliance with internationally recognized standards for occupational health and safety as well as environmental management. The awards were presented by SGS Philippines & Guam Managing Director Cresenciano Maramot.

“These renewed certifications reinforce our dedication to creating a positive impact for our TP Team members and the communities we serve,” said Rahul Jolly, CEO of TP in the Philippines.

ISO 45001 recognizes organizations that effectively manage workplace health and safety risks, aiming to reduce injuries, illnesses, and related incidents. TP said the certification reflects its continuing efforts to improve workplace conditions and strengthen employee morale and retention.

ISO 14001, meanwhile, acknowledges organizations that minimize their environmental footprint and adopt sustainable practices. The standard provides a framework for addressing issues such as resource conservation, waste reduction, and climate change, while aligning environmental goals with business growth.

“We always aim to be a leader in responsible business practices, and by adhering to these ISO standards, we double down on this commitment,” said Jeffrey Johnson, chief people officer of TP in the Philippines. He added that the certifications enhance TP’s ability to deliver value to clients while maintaining global benchmarks in workplace safety and environmental sustainability.

TP noted that the renewed certifications demonstrate its continued integration of ethical, safe, and sustainable practices into its operations nationwide.
