TV5 expands coverage to reach more viewers across PH

In collaboration with media conglomerate Mediaquest, TV5 announced its ongoing efforts to expand its reach and cater to viewers in more areas across the country. With these expansion efforts, TV5 anticipates reaching nearly 18.5 million individuals in over 4.5 million Philippine households by August of this year.

“Our primary objective is to extend our reach and deliver the best content across all platforms,” stated TV5 President, Guido Zaballero. “Through these ongoing enhancements, we can provide more families with an exceptional viewing experience on TV5.”

To further improve coverage, TV5 has enhanced its presence in key provinces and cities. In the Visayas region, viewers in Cebu, Negros Occidental, and Guimaras can now enjoy an improved TV5 experience. Likewise, in Mindanao, TV5 has extended its coverage to include the cities of Davao, Cagayan de Oro, and General Santos.

New transmission towers

These recent developments follow TV5’s previous initiatives to expand its reach in several locations, including Quezon City, Laoag in Ilocos Norte, Capas in Tarlac, Naga in Camarines Sur, Puerto Princesa in Palawan, and select areas in Batangas Province.

Continuing its commitment to reaching more viewers, TV5 has successfully launched new transmission towers in Kalibo, Aklan; San Jose, Mindoro; and Tuguegarao, Cagayan, this June. Looking ahead, TV5 aims to strengthen its presence in Olongapo, Zambales; the Southern Tagalog provinces of Laguna, Cavite, and Batangas; as well as Baguio and Mountain Province in July.
