Union Bank of the Philippines (UnionBank) has renewed its partnership with Momzilla PH to support the 2024 Momzilla Fair through UB Negosyante.

The Momzilla Fair, held on July 13-14, 2024, at The Fifth at Rockwell Makati City, is an event for budget-savvy and smart-spending parents. Over 200 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) managed by mothers showcased their brands to new customers. UnionBank is the digital payment provider for the fair, continuing a partnership that began in 2023.

UnionBank’s UB Negosyante aims to support SMEs by providing innovative solutions such as affordable business accounts, a comprehensive mobile application for seamless transactions, and educational seminars for business growth.

Dino Velasco, head of Marketing at UnionBank Institutional Banking, emphasized the bank’s commitment to empowering SMEs through digital banking innovations. Velasco also highlighted the alignment with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’s call for modernizing payment systems and adopting digital payments in the country.

Kato Lim, founder and CEO of Momzilla PH, noted the importance of providing convenient payment options for busy mothers balancing careers and family responsibilities. Lim pointed out that going cashless offers a quick and convenient way for merchants and consumers to manage transactions, eliminating the need to visit bank branches or ATMs.

The Momzilla Fair will have two additional exhibits this year: one on Sept. 7-8 at The Fifth at Rockwell, and another on Nov. 9-10 at SMX Aura, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. This continued partnership is expected to provide Momzilla merchants with a suite of innovative products tailored for SMEs.
