Vertiv Philippines, a provider of equipment and services for data centers, cautions data center operators of the unusual heat the country is experiencing these days. Pieces of computing equipment overheating pose dangers not only to the property but also to the data stored in it.

“Dealing with the extreme spike of temperatures should not be taken lightly,” said Pamela Albar, associate director for Channels & Enterprise Sales, Vertiv Philippines. “This is when data center operators must be vigilant in monitoring their facilities. If not taken seriously, providers risk losing their reliability and connectivity,”

Vertiv shared ways how to maintain a cool temperature that data centers need and how they can protect their operations from extreme temperature spikes during summer. Vertiv offers solutions that improve the performance and scalability of data centers, communication networks, and other critical IT facilities.
