Messaging app Rakuten Viber has launched Viber Ads Manager in the Philippines, giving small and medium agencies and advertisers a way to run their own ad campaigns directly on the platform.
The self-service tool allows businesses to independently create, manage, and monitor targeted campaigns using a pay-as-you-go model. Powered by global ad tech provider Adslot, Viber Ads Manager offers access to Viber’s ad inventory and global user base. Advertisers can choose preset packages suited to their goals and budgets, define their audiences, and use mobile-friendly ad formats to reach users.
“Viber Ads Manager is the next step in Viber’s super app strategy, part of which is to create an ecosystem of solutions for businesses of all sizes,” said Cristina Constandache, chief revenue officer at Rakuten Viber. “We’re excited to launch it in a number of our key markets after successful testing, giving smaller advertisers a simple way to run targeted campaigns on their own terms.”
Businesses can start by signing up and following three steps: selecting an ad package and audience, setting campaign dates and a budget starting at $100, and launching the campaign. The platform enables advertisers to adjust placements, track performance, and make changes in real time through an easy-to-use interface.
Thousands of brands already use Viber’s business tools designed for larger enterprises. The new Ads Manager complements these offerings by focusing on the needs of smaller businesses and helping them improve customer engagement.
Viber Ads Manager is now available to small and medium advertisers in the Philippines, who can sign up and begin running their campaigns.
