vivo X300 Pro is a smartphone designed to improve long-range photography through its 200MP ZEISS APO Telephoto Camera, allowing users to capture distant subjects with clearer detail.
The device focuses on addressing a common challenge in photography, where shooting faraway scenes often reduces sharpness and texture. vivo said advances in mobile imaging are helping close the gap between what users see and what their cameras can capture.
Makati-based photographer and content creator Nash Hadjula tested the vivo X300 Pro while shooting mountain landscapes in Antipolo, Rizal. He said distant scenery that looked muted to the naked eye appeared more defined when captured using the device.
“What impressed me most was how much detail I could pull from a scene that looked far away,” Nash said. “It allowed me to capture the mood and layers of the environment without needing to get physically closer.”
Hadjula said the telephoto camera helped improve texture and separation between foreground and background elements. He added that the experience showed the role of optical technology in improving mobile photography, rather than relying solely on digital zoom.
Photographer June Sarahina also tested the smartphone’s camera in low-light conditions while shooting a condominium skyline at night. She said the device was able to capture details such as balcony lines and window patterns that appeared as silhouettes in person.
“Night scenes are tricky because highlights can easily blow out, especially when you’re shooting from a distance,” June said. “I was surprised at how the details in the buildings stayed intact even with bright light sources in the frame.”
Sarahina also used the device to photograph fireworks, noting that the camera maintained clarity in both the light bursts and the darker city background.
