Yondu Inc., a Philippine-based IT solutions firm, has launched Knight Wolf, a new service designed to enhance cybersecurity for local businesses. Knight Wolf offers Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) to help companies find and address security weaknesses before they can be exploited.

Knight Wolf was introduced at RootCon 18, a major cybersecurity event that attracted over 700 industry experts and leaders. At the event, Yondu shared best practices for cybersecurity and insights into their VAPT experience.

“Knight Wolf offers unparalleled security knowledge for businesses, allowing them to operate without the fear of digital incursions, thereby focusing on growth and excellence in their respective domains,” said Dennis Sanchez, CISO at Yondu.

Yondu’s move to strengthen cybersecurity services follows a series of recent attacks on prominent Philippine organizations. In June 2024, a fast-food giant reported a data breach affecting 11 million customers, and a month later, a branch of the Philippine armed forces faced a significant hacking attempt linked to an international group. These incidents underscored vulnerabilities in the country’s cyber defenses, prompting businesses to consider stronger protective measures.

Knight Wolf’s approach shifts from traditional reactive security to a more proactive model. By identifying and addressing risks early, the service helps companies guard against potential threats. Additionally, Yondu’s consultative strategy provides tailored solutions for businesses, ensuring comprehensive coverage through assessments, penetration testing, and red teaming exercises.
