Gaming creators surged in popularity in the past few years with YouTube seeing more than 40 million active gaming channels and over 100 billion hours of gaming content watched on the streaming platform globally in 2020.
Committed to growing the gaming segment and creators, YouTube is launching its first-ever Philippines Creator Day: Gaming program which will kick off with a live stream event on July 2, 2021, 2 p.m., live via the YouTube Space channel.
The session will cover topics about gaming and live streaming opportunities, strategies, and best practices, delivered by industry experts like Bent Pixels Asia and Collab Asia, as well as a Q&A with gaming creators Gloco from the Philippines and Muselk from Australia.

Bent Pixels Asia is a subsidiary of Hepmil Media Group that empowers creators, digital talent agencies, and esports organizations to efficiently operate and scale their earnings on YouTube in Asia. Collab Asia is a leading influencer network in APAC, working with over 2,000 content creators across eight offices.

Following the launch are training programs led by Bent Pixels Asia and Collab Asia with topics including building a community and a brand, and an expanded version of live streaming best practices.
