AICON PH 2025 will gather leaders, professionals, educators, and students on July 23 at SMX Convention Center Aura in Bonifacio Global City for a full day of discussions on artificial intelligence.
Marking its 10th year, the event, organized by the Analytics & Artificial Intelligence Association of the Philippines (AAP), continues its mission of making advanced technologies more useful and accessible. Originally launched in 2016 as the Big Data Analytics Conference, it has grown into a national platform for learning and collaboration.
With the theme, “Making AI Real, Making AI Matter,” this year’s edition focuses on real-world applications of AI, challenges in fairness and accessibility, and ways to help more Filipinos benefit from intelligent systems.
“This year, we want to focus on what’s already working, where help is needed, and how we can make AI more helpful, fair, and accessible for more people,” AAP said.
The keynote lineup includes Michelle Alarcon, president of AAP; Arsenio Balisacan, secretary of the Department of Economy, Planning and Development; Edwine Carrie, UNDP Philippines resident representative; Pedro Campelo, partner at LTPlabs; and Wing Kin Cheung, president and CEO of BeeInfoTech.
Panels will feature experts from Alibaba Cloud, AWS, Google, SGV & Co., and UNDP to tackle AI’s human impact and the idea of sovereign AI. Afternoon breakout sessions will offer practical workshops and case studies tailored to roles such as developers, business leaders, and educators.
Program highlights include a moral imagination workshop by GCash, a showcase of AI in education by Cambridge University Press & Assessment, and a behind-the-scenes look at banking AI operations by RCBC. Winners of the first National AI Prompt Design Challenge will also be announced.
