Alibaba Cloud, the cloud computing arm of Alibaba Group, introduced its revamped partner ecosystem plan, the “Alibaba Cloud Partner Rainforest Plan,” during the 2024 Alibaba Cloud Partner Summit. The plan aims to foster collaboration among global partners and boost the adoption of AI and cloud computing solutions worldwide.

“Our global partners are not just participants; they are the architects of a new digital landscape,” said Selina Yuan, president of International Business, Alibaba Cloud Intelligence. “We are committed to helping our partners thrive in the AI era and meet the diverse needs of businesses globally.”

Significant to this initiative is the AI Alliance Accelerator Program, designed to bring together 50 AI technology and 50 channel partners by 2025. This program offers AI-focused technical support, wider distribution channels, and tailored consulting services. Channel partners will also receive financial incentives to enhance their AI-related ventures.

Alibaba Cloud also launched the Revitalized Service Partner Program, emphasizing upskilling and resource-sharing for service partners. The initiative leverages the company’s Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities to develop services like the Managed Large Language Model Service, supporting partners in expanding their offerings.

Strategic partnerships are also a key focus. Alibaba Cloud has partnered with Telkom Indonesia to provide AI-supported cloud solutions in Indonesia, Securai in Japan to localize its Zstack service, and Yell Group in Thailand to empower creative industries with Generative AI.

The company has also rolled out a Synergistic Incentive Program, encouraging collaboration between technology and channel partners. By strengthening these relationships, Alibaba Cloud aims to create a thriving global ecosystem.

With 12,000 partners worldwide, Alibaba Cloud seeks to position itself as a leading collaborator in the rapidly evolving digital and AI-driven economy.
