Spanning three distinct categories, developers can unleash their creativity and expertise:
• Generative AI: Leveraging the capabilities of AMD Radeon Pro W7900 or MI Instinct 210, paired with AMD ROCm software, developers are challenged to expand the horizons of generative AI beyond its current applications.
• Robotics AI: Using the Kria KR260 Robotics Kit’s pre-built interfaces and accelerated applications, participants can craft AI-vision-guided robotics solutions across a multitude of sectors.
• PC AI: Harnessing the power of AMD Ryzen AI, developers can create innovative PC applications employing vision, speech, or domain-optimized LLMs, showcasing the AI PC’s potential to revolutionize user experiences.
With a prize of $10,000 in each category, the contest also champions academia and diversity. A special cash prize awaits a winning project from a university student through the AMD University Program. The “Women in Technology” award recognizes exceptional projects from teams predominantly composed of women, fostering inclusivity and diversity in the industry.
Registration is ongoing, with hardware application submissions closing on Jan. 31, 2024. Detailed information, including rules, hardware applications, and registration, can be accessed through the contest page and the AMD Community blog.
