This August, AXA Philippines is partnering with Oceanus Conservation, a science-based non-profit environmental organization focusing on the conservation and restoration of blue carbon habitats in the Philippines, to promote ocean literacy to Filipino children.
Oceanus aims to invest in the future of Filipinos through marine environmental education in local communities and marine-field programs that promote better appreciation of the country’s marine life. Recently, it launched their second educational children’s storybook, “Ocean Adventures with Cory,” that shines a light on the impact of climate change on coral reefs.
For every AXA Philippines customer who will sign up, pay their premium for the first time, or do top-ups on Emma by AXA through the app or website from July 25 to August 31, AXA Philippines will donate ocean education storybooks to the children of Oceanus’ partner local communities through AXA Hearts in Action, AXA’s volunteer program. Customers who successfully register to Emma by AXA will also receive an electronic certificate to commemorate their donation.

Through Emma by AXA and AXA Hearts in Action, AXA Philippines aims to be an avenue that supports relevant social causes. Recently, the company had the “Adopt a Mangrove Seedling” program wherein mangroves were planted on behalf of customers. The company also organized a bayanihan drive in partnership with Cropital, a program that directly support local farmers, wherein AXA Philippines purchased rice from Cropital farmers and donated these to beneficiary communities.
Emma by AXA allows safe and convenient in-app transactions for AXA customers such as checking policy information in real-time and hassle-free filing of hospitalization and motor claims. Non-AXA customers can also get free 24/7 access to emergency services such as roadside, medical, fire, and police assistance. The app also allows users to contact their loved ones in case of emergencies quickly, letting them list up to three emergency contacts on the app.
