Canva, a visual communication platform, introduced a new set of tools designed to enhance the workplace experience while announcing significant growth in revenue and active users.
Canva also announced that it has reached over 200 million monthly active users and achieved $2.5 billion in annual revenue. This growth is attributed to the rising demand for Canva’s workplace tools, which have expanded their footprint in businesses worldwide.

The Philippines has emerged as one of Canva’s fastest-growing markets, with 1 in 6 internet users in the country using the platform. Canva Philippines, which employs over 900 Filipinos, is playing a significant role in promoting digital literacy. Through a partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd), Canva plans to introduce its design tools to classrooms across the country by 2025. This initiative will also include training programs for teachers and students to prepare them for future employment and professional development.
Canva’s new features include advancements in AI technology, thanks to its recent acquisition of Leonardo.ai. One of the key innovations, called Dream Lab, allows users to create highly detailed images from simple text prompts. This tool is expected to benefit professionals across various industries, helping them create visual content more efficiently.
Canva Enterprise
Dream Lab aims to streamline workflows and boost creativity, with users able to generate multiple image variations or replicate an existing style. Canva ensures these AI features are safe and responsibly managed through its Canva Shield program.

This suite, which includes tools for creating documents, presentations, videos, and websites, has seen major success, with over 30 billion designs created on the platform to date. Enhancements include more intuitive AI-powered text generation, improved video creation tools, and new interactive options for presentations. In the business sector, Canva has introduced Canva Enterprise, a subscription service tailored for large organizations.
