At its first international Canva Create event in Los Angeles, Canva introduced a significant overhaul of its platform, promising enhanced enterprise solutions and workplace productivity.
“As demand for visual content soars, navigating organizational complexity is more challenging than ever,” said Melanie Perkins, co-founder and CEO of Canva. “We democratized the design ecosystem in our first decade and now look forward to unifying the fragmented ecosystems of design, AI, and workflow tools for every organization in our second decade.”
As highlighted in Canva’s latest Visual Economy Report, 92% of business leaders expect employees in non-design roles to have design skills. Canva’s new suite of products aims to address this need, enabling employees without professional design training to produce high-quality visual content.
Currently, the all-in-one visual communication platform boasts over 180 million monthly active users and an annualized revenue of more than $2.3 billion. The platform’s workplace-focused Visual Suite, introduced 18 months ago, has attracted 95 million new users, a growth rate that previously took nearly nine years to achieve.
Introducing Canva Enterprise
To meet the growing demand for visual communication in large organizations, Canva introduced Canva Enterprise. This subscription service is tailored for large organizations with complex security, reporting, administration, and brand management needs. Canva Enterprise allows companies to create vast quantities of visual content and enhance internal collaboration. Key features include scalable growth, advanced brand controls, and enterprise-level security.

New Canva UI designed for work
For the first time in a decade, Canva has redesigned its core product experience. The new user interface is designed to boost creativity and productivity in the workplace. It features a streamlined editing experience, a customizable homepage, and improved collaboration tools. The new homepage and editing experience are available today to the first million users who find the secret portal on their Canva homepage, with general availability beginning in August.
Tailored tools for every team
Canva introduced tailored tools for various departments, including Marketing, HR, Sales, and Creative. These tools include Canva Work Kits, industry-specific collections of templates that can be branded with a single click using Canva’s Brand Kit. Canva also launched Canva Courses to enhance workplace learning, allowing organizations to create interactive courses from existing designs.
Bolstering visual suite and magic studio AI products
Canva expanded its AI capabilities with upgrades to Magic Studio, which has been used more than 5 billion times since October 2023. New features include text-to-graphic generation, improved AI design technology, and supercharged photo and video editing tools. Additionally, Canva’s Visual Suite now offers suggested editing, third-party app integration, data autofill, and bulk creation features.
