Legato Health Technologies was established in the Philippines in 2018.

Along with the rebranding, the company said it is focusing on developing new talents to help them achieve its goal of expanding services and reach. According to Terrado, Carelon is looking at hiring 1,500 more highly qualified talents in the next two years.

“To be specific, this includes practitioners of healthcare such as nurses and online services, technologies around business process proficiencies,” Terrado said. “People will have to be trained in technologies such as RPA (or robotics process automation) as well as other technologies.”

Terrado added that employees will be trained in data analytics so that they can utilize data into developing new digital products and solutions.

“We ensure that the quality of service remains the same and the change (of the name) only further allows us to reach greater heights,” said Rajat Puri, COO and president Carelon Global Solutions. “With the help of our partners and stakeholders, we will bring together the brightest minds to develop solutions and provide services for healthcare,” Puri added.
