South Trading Post (STP), a weekend flea market and community event, marked two years of growth with a merchant community event on Feb. 27, 2026, powered by DITO BizBayan, highlighting how 5G connectivity supports cashless payments, real-time engagement, and hybrid online-offline retail.

The milestone gathering capped a series of events over the past months that drew merchants and shoppers across key locations in Alabang. These included the STP 2nd Southversary from Nov. 7 to 9, 2025, at Alabang Town Center, the South Sleigh Ride from Dec. 20 to 21, 2025, at G Studios Alabang, and Love You So Matcha from Feb. 13 to 15, 2026, again at Alabang Town Center.

“STP represents what the modern market looks like today, where business happens seamlessly both offline and online,” said Gabby Cui, head of MSME, DITO BizBayan. “With DITO’s 5G connectivity, we’re helping MSMEs power cashless payments, connect with customers in real time, and create meaningful experiences. From seamless digital payments to stable connectivity, we strive to make every event not just successful, but truly memorable for both merchants and their customers.”

Across the events, DITO BizBayan provided internet connectivity to support merchant transactions, social media activity, and production requirements, enabling exhibitors and organizers to handle digital payments and online engagement without disruption.

“Partnering with DITO BizBayan has been transformative for South Trading Post and our community,” said Justin Francisco, co-founder of South Trading Post. “Their support as the main title sponsor of our anniversary event, Southversary 2, and for our recent Thanksgiving dinner with our partner brands shows their dedication to helping and empowering small Filipino businesses to thrive. Together, we’re proving that when businesses come together, communities grow even stronger.”

Backed by its 5G network, DITO BizBayan said it continues to support micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with scalable connectivity solutions designed to meet growing digital demands, from cashless retail to real-time customer engagement.
