DJI, a provider of civilian drones and camera technology, has launched the DJI Avata 2, aimed at content creators and production professionals. The latest addition to DJI’s lineup promises an immersive FPV drone experience with enhanced imaging, safety features, and battery life.

Designed to deliver an intuitive and exciting flight experience, the Avata 2 is equipped with the new DJI Goggles 3 and DJI RC Motion 3. These features allow users to experience every twist and turn in real-time, thanks to Micro-OLED displays and ultra-low-latency transmission.

One of the standout features of the Avata 2 is its Easy ACRO mode, which enables even novice pilots to perform spectacular aerial maneuvers effortlessly. This mode opens up opportunities for capturing stunning FPV footage that was once reserved for experienced pilots.

The drone’s imaging capabilities are bolstered by a 1/1.3-inch image sensor and 4K/60fps HDR video capabilities, along with a 155-degree ultra-wide field of view. Stabilization technologies like RockSteady and HorizonSteady ensure smooth footage even in dynamic conditions.

Safety and durability are paramount in the Avata 2’s design, with features like an integrated propeller guard, advanced positioning sensors, and automatic Return to Home function. Additionally, the drone can quickly recover from being upside down with its Turtle Mode enabled.

Two-Way Charging Hub

Improved battery life and fast-charging capabilities further enhance the user experience, with a maximum flight time of 23 minutes and PD fast charging that can recharge the battery up to 80% in 18 minutes.

The Avata 2 also introduces the Two-Way Charging Hub, allowing the transfer of remaining power from multiple batteries to the one with the highest charge level, providing users with extra battery life when needed most.

Advanced Wi-Fi connectivity enables seamless media transfer from the drone to mobile devices, facilitating instant sharing and livestreaming of high-quality aerial footage. The DJI Fly App further enhances the user experience by simplifying device management and access to the drone’s features.

DJI’s Avata 2 underscores the company’s commitment to innovation, offering top-tier equipment at consumer-friendly prices. It empowers content creators to capture extraordinary footage in ways previously unimaginable, ushering in a new era of creativity in drone technology.
