PLDT’s revenues have experienced a 3% growth, reaching P149.8 billion in the first nine months of 2023, driven by its business-to-business (B2B) arm.
The demand for data and ICT services has continued to rise, leading to a net increase of P1.1 billion in consolidated service revenues (net of interconnect costs), bringing the total to P142.3 billion. In the third quarter, consolidated service revenues increased by P0.3 billion to P47.8 billion compared to the second quarter.
With the anticipation of the growing demand from hyperscalers and businesses modernizing their IT infrastructure, PLDT achieved an all-time high of P34.8 billion in service revenues from its fixed and wireless solutions. The Group’s cloud and tech services contributed to a 28% increase, while the data center business is expanding, with discussions about a potential 12th data center.

Data and broadband, which saw a 4% growth of P4.1 billion, reached a total of P116.9 billion and accounted for 82% of consolidated service revenues. Home’s fiber-only service revenues grew by 10%, or P3.6 billion, reaching an all-time high of P39.3 billion in the first nine months of 2023. Fiber-only revenues accounted for 87% of the total Home revenues, which stood at P45.3 billion, a 2% increase compared to the same period last year.
As of the end of September 2023, PLDT’s total fiber subscribers reached 3.14 million, with 210,000 fiber net additions in the first nine months. The third quarter saw a significant increase in net additions to about 88,000, compared to around 42,000 in the second quarter.
PLDT’s Individual Wireless segment reported revenues of P60.6 billion in the first nine months of 2023, a year-on-year increase of P0.3 billion. Mobile data revenues grew by 5% to P52.4 billion for the period, driven by a 15% year-on-year increase in mobile data traffic, which reached 3,630 Petabytes.
