Cisco, a networking and security provider, has partnered with Entropy, a Philippine-based digital solutions company, to support the development of artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure in the country.

Entropy will use Cisco Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA to build and expand AI solutions for telecommunications companies, internet service providers, and large enterprises. The initiative is part of Cisco’s Country Digital Acceleration Program, which aims to help organizations set up secure and scalable digital systems.

The partnership comes as more Philippine companies plan to increase their use of AI. According to Cisco’s AI Readiness Index 2025, about half of organizations in the country expect their AI workloads to grow by more than 50% in the next three to five years. However, only around half are preparing the power and infrastructure needed to support this growth.

“AI has the potential to transform the way Filipinos live and work, but it starts with the right foundation,” said Zaza Soriano-Nicart, managing director of Cisco Philippines. “By working together with Entropy, we are not just bringing world-class AI infrastructure to the Philippines but also empowering local industries to harness emerging technologies securely, reliably, and at scale. This is a critical step forward in building an inclusive, AI-ready nation,” she said.

“Our mission is to translate AI innovation into tangible benefits for Filipinos, whether it’s expanding connectivity in rural areas or ensuring reliable communication during emergencies and natural disasters,” said Sam Consorte, managing director of Entropy. “Partnering with Cisco gives us the world-class tools and secure platforms needed to deliver these solutions quickly and confidently, creating real impact in communities across the country.”

Cisco Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA combines computing, networking, and security into one system that is easier to manage. It is designed to help companies handle large amounts of data without building complex data centers from scratch.

Before the partnership, Entropy relied on analytics tools that were not designed for real-time telecom operations. With Cisco’s infrastructure, the company can now process data more securely and at larger scale. The two companies plan to support use cases such as network automation, system maintenance, broadband analysis, and possible applications in traffic management, public safety, and cybersecurity.
