Epson has opened the call for entries for the 16th Epson International Pano Awards, a global photography contest that celebrates panoramic photography. The competition is now accepting submissions until July 21, 2025, with early-bird entries accepted through June 30, 2025.
The Pano Awards continues to be supported by Epson Southeast Asia and Epson Australia, with over 4,500 entries received from 95 countries in 2024. The upcoming 2025 edition will again offer a prize pool exceeding $50,000, which includes $15,000 in cash and a package worth over $11,000 for the Open category winner.
“We are incredibly thankful to the incredible support from our invaluable sponsors to be able to reduce entry fees in 2025, making the competition more accessible than ever,” said David Evans, curator of The Epson International Pano Awards.
The 2025 judging panel features well-known names in the photography community, including previous winners such as Kelvin Yuen and Merche Llobera.
“This milestone reflects the awards’ enduring relevance in the global photography community. At Epson, we remain committed to empowering photographers through cutting-edge print technology that helps bring their boldest visions to life,” said Jocelyn Tan, regional deputy director, commercial products, Epson Southeast Asia.
The competition recently introduced the Southeast Asia Open Photographer of the Year category, which was awarded in 2024 to Fikri Muharom of Indonesia for his photo “The Volcanoes Theatre,” taken at Mt. Bromo. Another featured work, “Blissful Moment” by Brix Tan (Used as thumbnail for this article. – Ed.) from the Philippines, also gained attention.
