Self-service payments provider eTap Solutions is set to expand its services and reach in 2026, introducing cash-out machines, new hubs, and on-ground support to make financial transactions easier for Filipinos.
Founded in 2023 as a subsidiary of eTap Inc., eTap Solutions operates more than 4,000 machines across the country. Its kiosks, located in over 450 partner stores allow users to make cash-ins to e-wallets, pay bills, and purchase e-load.
“Everything we did in 2025 was to enhance financial accessibility for Filipinos,” said Carlo Hernandez, CEO of eTap Solutions. “Our machines act as a phygital bridge for anyone who wants to turn their physical cash into digital payments, which is especially useful for the millions of Filipinos who are still primarily cash-first.”
The new cash-out machines allow users withdraw money from their e-wallets, giving them more flexibility in managing funds. To bring services closer to more communities, eTap Solutions will open additional hubs in Zamboanga City, Bacolod City, Cebu City, and Davao City, following the first hub launched in Palanan, Makati, in May.
“The Hubs are a place where people can not only use machines, but also get assistance from eTap employees on standby,” Hernandez said. “Meanwhile, the caravans have us going to our valued store partners and assisting their shoppers who use our machines.”
A new company, eTap Managed Services Inc. (EMSI), will also be launched in January 2026 to support franchisees, collectors, and technicians. Led by Jana Darm-Cruzado, corporate secretary of eTap Solutions, EMSI aims to improve machine servicing, speed up cash replenishment, and ensure smoother operations.
“Between the rising cost of living and constant natural disasters, we understand these are trying times for the average Filipino. The least we can do is make our machines convenient, accessible, and easy to use; there’s no reason they should have a hard time settling their crucial financial transactions,” Hernandez said.
