Digital nomads who hail from different countries and doing a variety of things gathered at the Ground Up Coworking Space, Paranaque, for the first-ever “Freedom Summit,” which runs until tomorrow, March 31.
The speakers are of a diverse background who shared their experiences, life lessons, and how technology allowed them to come from a 9-5 job to practically owning their time. They will share how they obtained their freedom to do choose the life they have always wanted and earned a living.
Ricky Shetty, a Canadian national married to a Filipina, said he founded “Freedom Summit” because he saw the need to help people find and fulfill their dreams.
Shetty has shown more than 1,200 Filipinos how to achieve financial freedom, time freedom, and location independence. He will reveal more of his secrets along with his fellow internet marketers in the summit. International public speaking guru Mitch Carson is the summit Director and Filipina digital entrepreneur Celia Alamo-Jacob is the conference producer.
Participating in the Summit with Ricky, Mitch, and Celia are seven other online entrepreneurs and internet marketers who relate how they have achieved success in this field and how they will impart their learnings to the Philippine audience. They are as follows: Michelle Abraham; Myke Celis; Andrew Heng; Joan Kaylor; Dan McPherson; Croix Sather; and Sua Truong.
In this age of gig or freelancing economy, it is possible to earn a fairly decent living without having to serve in an eight-hour job. Some of them are either office worker or a software engineer who gave up years of working in a company to become speakers or internet marketer.
