Fujifilm Philippines has rolled out the instax WIDE Evo, a hybrid instant camera that prints wide-format photos and offers creative features. Priced at ₱22,599, the camera is now available at Fujifilm’s authorized dealers across the country.
The instax WIDE Evo builds on the features of the earlier mini Evo, but this time uses wide-format film. Its main draw is the ability to snap photos digitally using the LCD screen and print them instantly. It also connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth and works as a portable printer.
Creative effects for different photo styles
The instax WIDE Evo offers up to 100 different photo effects by mixing 10 lens filters and 10 film styles. Users can choose from lens effects like “Magenta” and “Monochrome,” or film styles such as “Light Leak” and “Color Gradient.”
For the first time in the instax series, the WIDE Evo includes a “Degree Control” function, allowing more precise adjustments like brightness and color gradation across 100 levels.
A new “Wide Angle Mode” helps capture broader scenes, ideal for group shots or landscapes. Users can apply filters and effects through physical dials and crank the print lever manually to produce their photos.
Connects with smartphones through a dedicated app
With its dedicated app, users can explore a “Discover Feed” that showcases photos taken with the WIDE Evo. Users can save their favorite effects and apply them directly through the app. Printed photos can also be stored digitally with an instax frame and shared online.
