Globe Telecom has finalized a term loan agreement with BDO Unibank Inc. amounting to P20 billion. The purpose of this loan is to support various financial needs such as capital expenditures (capex), debt refinancing, and general corporate requirements.
Throughout the first nine months of the year, Globe has allocated P54 billion for capex, focusing on network expansion and enhancement. This figure represents a 27% decrease from the same period in 2022 and aligns with Globe’s guidance of a projected capex decrease to $1.3 billion US dollars for the entire year.
