GoTyme Bank, a partnership between Tyme, a digital banking group, and Gokongwei companies, enlisted Keyrus, a global consultancy, to enhance its Tableau-based data visualization. Keyrus focuses on giving data meaning, emphasizing people-centric perspectives to empower GoTyme.

Data visualization, harnessing 90% of the brain’s visual processing power, is a potent tool merging technical analysis with storytelling. It facilitates faster decision-making, trend identification, and team communication, giving organizations a competitive edge.

Head of data and analytics at GoTyme, JC van Staden, said Keyrus aims to boost Tableau’s capabilities to create interactive, business-focused dashboards. Keyrus, known for Tableau expertise, deployed consultants to develop new dashboards and provide server configuration, training, and hands-on demonstrations.

Analytics

Recognizing the need for effective change management, Keyrus recommended Confluence as a collaboration platform. As GoTyme’s task management system, Confluence facilitates documentation and collaboration among team members.

Craig Andrew, Keyrus’s head of BI and Analytics, highlights the importance of digital banks offering superior customer experiences while ensuring performance and security.

GoTyme now benefits from efficient dashboards enabling informed decisions. They use Tableau to create detailed visualizations, like radar charts, depicting customer data, store performance, and regional metrics, facilitating targeted marketing strategies.

End-users at GoTyme can independently generate reports, reducing dependence on the BI team. They can also track finances and communicate with investors using visually appealing PDF reports.
