Honor Philippines is preparing to launch its new smartphone, the Honor 400 5G, which features an AI tool that can bring old photos to life. The phone will be officially introduced on June 17 during a livestream event on Facebook.

“With the Honor 400 5G, we’re not just launching another smartphone, but introducing a new emotional experience. This is the real AI phone, designed to bring your memories back to life and create meaningful moments through innovation,” said Stephen Cheng, vice president of Honor Philippines.

The new phone is part of the company’s effort to combine technology with memory sharing. Using artificial intelligence, the Honor 400 5G can animate old, still images and turn them into lifelike videos. As part of the launch campaign, the company is encouraging fans to try the Honor Image-to-Video Challenge, which uses the phone’s AI feature to turn childhood pictures into moving clips.

The teaser video, now available online, shows how the phone’s AI gives movement to photos, giving users a new way to reconnect with memories. Honor describes this as a fresh use of AI that blends technology and emotion.

With the Honor 400 5G, the company is focusing on tools that create more personal and interactive experiences.
