Honor Philippines and the Phinma Foundation donated 25 Honor Pad X9a tablets to student scholars during a recent event held at the Philippine Normal University in Manila. The donation is part of the “Pad Your Way to the Future” program, a corporate social responsibility (CSR) effort aimed at helping students through access to technology.

“We believe in the power of technology to transform lives, especially when placed in the hands of passionate learners and educators,” said Stephen Cheng, vice president of Honor Philippines. “Through this collaboration, we hope to open new doors, doors to learning, to growth, and greater opportunities.”

The tablets, designed with large displays, strong performance, and AI-enhanced learning features, were given to students supported by Phinma Foundation’s scholarship programs.

Helping scholars stay connected

“This donation from Honor could not have come at a better time,” said Ron Ranier Reyes, executive director of Phinma Foundation. “With these tablets, students will now have access to digital tools that will enhance their education, their connectivity, and ultimately, their future.”

During the event, Honor and Phinma Foundation also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to continue working together on future education-focused projects.

The program included a short presentation about the Honor Pad X9a, student activities, and a networking lunch.

Honor Philippines says it hopes efforts like this will help more students learn without being left behind.
