IWG, a provider of hybrid working solutions, has announced the opening of four new flexible workspaces across the Philippines.
This expansion includes two Regus centers, one in Nepo Centre, Angeles City, Pampanga, which opened on May 6, and another in Adriatico, Manila, on May 10. The HQ Triumph building in Quezon City launched on May 14, followed by a new Spaces location in PNB Makati on May 15.
The expansion aligns with IWG’s ongoing global growth, adding 867 locations worldwide in 2023. The increasing demand for hybrid working in the Philippines, driven by rising foreign investment, strong GDP growth, and growing affluence, underpins this move. According to PwC, 51% of Philippine respondents favor the hybrid work model.
“We see immense potential in the country’s hybrid work landscape,” said Lars Wittig, SVP, APAC North at IWG. “These latest openings are aimed at strengthening our expansion plans while enhancing the quality of the nation’s infrastructure to drive its economy into the future.”
With the latest additions, IWG now operates 31 centers across the Philippines, with plans to exceed 40 locations by the end of the year. This expansion doubles the number of open locations compared to the previous year. IWG’s network includes key cities such as Davao, Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo, Cebu, Subic, Angeles City, Baguio, and throughout the National Capital Region.
Local investors
IWG’s growth in the Philippines is supported by partnerships with local investors, fostering a robust network of hybrid workspaces that enable businesses of all sizes to thrive. Small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) particularly benefit from these flexible spaces, using them as platforms to scale regionally, nationally, and globally. This strategy has resulted in significant margin growth for IWG Philippines, bolstered by ongoing network development and new openings.

By extending its reach beyond Manila’s central business districts, IWG ensures businesses across the Philippines have access to premium flexible workspaces. This expansion promotes economic development and empowers businesses nationwide.
IWG invests approximately $64 million annually in its technology platform, providing partners with access to expertise and design support. This investment has helped position IWG Philippines as one of the company’s top-performing markets globally.
As the trend toward hybrid working gains momentum, the potential for further growth is substantial. With an estimated 1.2 billion white-collar workers worldwide and a total addressable market of over $2 trillion, businesses are increasingly shifting from traditional office spaces to flexible workspaces. Last year, IWG added over 800 new partner locations and now serves 83% of Fortune 500 companies. With more than 4,000 locations in over 120 countries, IWG members can access all its locations and services via the IWG app.
