International Workspace Group (IWG), known for its brands like Regus, Spaces, and HQ, is set to boost its presence in the Philippines by launching at least 17 new locations in 2025. These additions will increase IWG’s network in the country by over 50%, with centers spanning urban hubs and key regional areas such as Antipolo, Batangas, Makati, Pampanga, and Tuguegarao.
“The need for high-quality flexible workspaces continues to soar as hybrid working becomes the new normal,” said Mark Dixon, CEO and founder of IWG PLC. “These openings reinforce our commitment to supporting the Philippines’ dynamic hybrid work landscape and empowering its economic growth for years to come.”
To extend beyond Manila’s central business districts, IWG aims to provide businesses across the country with access to modern work environments. For example, in Antipolo, the first Regus center will open in partnership with Metro Retail Stores Group Inc., by repurposing underutilized spaces. In Batangas, IWG will debut a center in Lipa’s South Supermarket to support the Calaba region’s evolving needs. Subic Bay Freeport Zone will welcome a new Regus center at Aurora Suites & Pavilion, blending professional amenities with the area’s coastal charm.
By opening centers in key growth areas, IWG is promoting the concept of “15-minute cities,” where employees can work close to home, cutting down on long commutes. The new facilities will offer private offices, co-working spaces, and meeting rooms, alongside tailored solutions for businesses through IWG’s Design Your Own Office service.
IWG recently added three centers in Cagayan de Oro, Baguio, and Mandaluyong, bringing its total locations to 33 by the end of 2024. With plans to exceed 50 centers by late 2025, IWG continues to support small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as they scale regionally and globally.
Globally, IWG operates over 4,000 locations, with its Philippine market among its best-performing. The company expects flexible workspaces to make up 30% of all commercial real estate by 2030, further underscoring the growing shift toward hybrid working.
