Technology giant Lenovo has unveiled new laptops, the Yoga Slim 7x and ThinkPad T14s Gen 6, marking the company’s first next-generation Copilot+ PCs powered by the Snapdragon X Elite processor. These laptops aim to enhance productivity, creativity, and security through intelligent, software-powered local processing of tasks.

The Yoga Slim 7x and ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 expand Lenovo’s AI-ready devices portfolio. Both laptops are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite processor, featuring a 12-core Qualcomm Oryon CPU, Qualcomm Adreno GPU, and a dedicated Qualcomm Hexagon NPU (neural processing unit).

This configuration enables the laptops to perform up to 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS) and provides advanced AI NPU processing capabilities. With Microsoft’s latest enhancements and Copilot+ integration, users can access large language model (LLM) capabilities even offline, ensuring seamless productivity and creativity.

“As we enter the AI PC era, a significant market inflection point, we are proud to offer a wide portfolio of AI-ready devices, solutions, and experiences,” said Luca Rossi, president of Lenovo’s Intelligent Devices Group, in a media release. “The Yoga Slim 7x and ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 harness AI’s power, offering multiday battery life and faster, secure client-based processing, unleashing users’ creative potential and productivity.”

The new laptops leverage generative AI (GenAI) and machine learning (ML) through Copilot+, aiding users in composing text, crafting visuals, and streamlining productivity tasks. By working offline with the same efficiency as online, the Yoga Slim 7x and ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 set new standards in AI-driven PC innovation.

“This partnership pushes the boundaries of technology, empowering individuals and organizations,” said Mark Linton, VP of Device Partner Sales at Microsoft Corp. “The Copilot+ PCs, Yoga Slim 7x, and ThinkPad T14s Gen 6, set new standards for AI-enhanced computing, offering intuitive and transformative experiences.”
