LG Electronics has concluded the inaugural LG HVAC Consultant Leaders’ Summit – LG Alumni Event – held in Seoul, South Korea, from May 28 to 31.
This event offered heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) consultants from across Asia a valuable opportunity to gain insights into LG’s industry expertise and advanced technologies. The summit aims to enhance LG’s leadership in the rapidly expanding HVAC market in Asia.
The summit hosted 46 consultants from Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam. Technical consultants play a crucial role in the HVAC sector, assisting customers with system design, installation, and maintenance. By working closely with consultants in various markets, LG can deliver a unique customer experience and add significant value to its HVAC solutions.
“It’s a pleasure to be sharing our cutting-edge technologies and industry insights with professional HVAC consultants from some of Asia’s most dynamic markets,” said James Lee, head of the Air Solution Business Unit at LG Electronics Home Appliance & Air Solution Company. “We will continue to collaborate closely with our consultant network to ensure the best customer outcomes and to grow our influence throughout the Asia region.”
Asia, experiencing high growth potential for LG, has become a key market for the company’s HVAC expansion. The region’s demand for smart HVAC systems is driven by commercial construction growth and stricter energy-saving policies. LG is collaborating with universities and research institutes to develop next-generation heat pump systems.
In 2023, LG announced plans to more than double its residential and commercial HVAC sales by 2030, aiming to solidify its position as a top global HVAC solutions provider.
The summit featured seminars led by industry experts, providing consultants with insights into trends and technologies shaping the HVAC landscape. Key topics included zero-carbon buildings and HVAC systems in the era of Artificial Intelligence.
