Cebuana Lhuillier, a micro-financial services provider, and Maya, a financial technology firm, have partnered to widen access to credit and remittance services for Filipinos.

The collaboration brings together Cebuana Lhuillier’s nationwide branch and partner network with Maya’s digital banking and payments platform. The aim is to make financial services such as credit, international remittance, and digital banking more available to communities across the country.

“Bringing together Cebuana Lhuillier’s trusted network and Maya’s digital banking creates a strong bridge between physical access points and modern financial services,” said Shailesh Baidwan, president of Maya Group and co-founder of Maya Bank. “It allows us to deliver credit, remittance, and banking where they can make the biggest impact, at the grassroots.”

One of the highlights of the partnership is the launch of Easy Loan, a revolving credit line that allows borrowers to access amounts ranging from ₱1,000 to ₱30,000.

Cebuana Lhuillier Authorized Agents will also be able to access a working capital loan of up to ₱350,000, designed to support micro-merchants, neighborhood stores, and independent sellers who often face limited financing options. Loan approvals and fund releases can be completed within minutes, with repayments managed through the Maya app.

“Our goal has always been to bring financial services closer to every Filipino. This partnership allows us to provide our customers with more services on ground and online to add value to their financial journey,” said Jean Henri Lhuillier, president and CEO of Cebuana Lhuillier.

The partnership will also create new income opportunities for Maya Center agents, who will be able to offer international remittance services through Cebuana Lhuillier’s global network. Agents can onboard easily, increase their earnings, and gain access to discounted subscriptions exclusive to Maya partners.

“Together with Cebuana Lhuillier, we’re putting simple, practical financial tools in people’s hands so they can take control of their money and their future,” said Orlando Vea, CEO of Maya and co-founder of Maya Bank.

Cebuana Lhuillier operates over 3,500 branches and 25,000 partner outlets nationwide, while Maya continues to expand its digital banking reach. Both companies said the partnership aims to bring innovation closer to communities.
