Mocasa, a virtual credit wallet, and Automated Fare Collection Service provider AF Payments Inc. (AFPI) announced their partnership aimed at enhancing the daily commuting experience for millions of Filipino travelers. This collaboration allows users to conveniently and securely reload their beep cards using Mocasa.
“By leveraging our virtual credit technology and AFPI’s extensive network, we aim to redefine the commuting experience, making it more seamless and enjoyable for passengers,” said Robin Wong, CEO of Mocasa.
To reload a beep card, users only need to download the Mocasa mobile app, apply for a Pay Later account, and activate their virtual Mastercard. Once approved, they can choose between topping up or using their virtual Mastercard to reload.

For topping up, users can visit the “Buy Load” section, select “BEEP,” and choose their preferred denomination. They need to input their beep™ account number and make the payment with Mocasa credit.
Reloading the virtual credit card
Users can reload using the virtual credit card (VCC) option. They simply tap the beep logo on Mocasa’s homepage, which redirects them to the beep app. Once redirected, a pop-up window provides instructions on how to reload using their VCC. Users can do this by tapping the “MPay” logo and entering their card details during checkout. This integration streamlines the payment process while ensuring the security of personal and financial information.
Mocasa and AF Payments Inc. plan to develop loyalty programs to reward frequent Mocasa-beep users with exclusive benefits and incentives.
“This partnership is a significant milestone in our mission to provide Filipino commuters with advanced and user-friendly payment options,” said Jonathan Juan Moreno, president and CEO of AF Payments Inc. “Together with Mocasa, we look forward to introducing an innovative payment method that enhances the travel experience.”
