MPL Philippines, the country’s leading Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports tournament, is set to hold its 13th season playoffs at SM Southmall, Las Piñas City. The event, scheduled for May 22-26, 2024, will host over 10,000 spectators.
Six teams, AP Bren, Echo, Blacklist International, RSG Philippines, Minana Evos, and Onic Philippines, have secured playoff spots and will compete for a share of the $150,000 (P8.5 million) prize pool.
The top two teams will advance to the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2024 at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where they will compete for a $3 million (P171 million) prize pool.
Fans can purchase tickets via SM Tickets, starting at P100. This season emphasizes the dedication of the teams, highlighting their aspirations and the potentially life-changing impact of their success.
Baizhou Ning, head of Esports, Moonton Games Philippines, noted the significance of Season 13 and the high potential for Filipino teams to excel at the MSC 2024.

For the first time, MPL Philippines will offer a Bahasa Indonesia stream on MPL Indonesia’s YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok channels, featuring popular ID casters such as Mirko, Pak Pulung, and Momo Chan. The Matanglawin Spot Challenge invites viewers to spot the MSC trophy during broadcasts and share photos on Facebook for a chance to win prizes.
Season 13 will also debut the MPL-PH Alamat Awards, celebrating legendary figures in MLBB esports, including an induction into the Hall of Legends.
Offline attendees at SM Southmall can enjoy activities at the MPL Community Hub, interact with artists and cosplayers, and participate in meet-and-greet sessions with MPL-PH teams. The event is supported by Smart Communications, with Infinix providing the official tournament phone, the GT10 Pro.
