The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 13 concluded with Team Liquid Echo PH securing their second championship title.
Both Team Liquid Echo PH and Falcons APBren will represent the Philippines at the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2024. This event, part of the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, carries a prize pool of $3 million (over P170 million).
In a decisive best-of-seven match, they defeated Falcons APBren with a clean sweep score of 4:0. This victory earned Team Liquid Echo PH the largest share of the $150,000 (or over P8.7 million) prize pool.
Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya was named Grand Finals MVP for his outstanding performance, leading his team to victory. The event attracted more than 2,500 in-person spectators at SM Southmall’s Events Hall. Fans enjoyed various activities, including watch parties, team merch booths, and cosplay events.
According to esports analytics partner Esports Charts, the tournament also set a new record with a peak concurrent viewership of 824,114, surpassing the previous season’s numbers.
