ASUS Philippines has introduced two AI-powered business laptops in the country, targeting enterprises, small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), hybrid workers, and digital nomads.

The new ASUS ExpertBook P5 G2 and ExpertBook P3 G2 are powered by AMD Ryzen AI processors and feature dedicated Neural Processing Units (NPUs), specialized chips designed to handle AI workloads locally instead of relying on cloud-based services.

ASUS said local AI processing improves performance, reduces dependence on internet connectivity, and helps organizations keep sensitive business data on the device.

The ASUS ExpertBook P5 G2 is designed for executives, power users, and SME leaders. The laptop can be configured with up to an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX processor delivering 55 TOPS (trillions of operations per second) of AI performance, up to 96GB of memory, and up to 6TB of storage.

As a Microsoft Copilot+ PC, the ExpertBook P5 G2 supports AI-powered features such as real-time language translation, document search, and workflow assistance. It also includes ASUS AI ExpertMeet, which offers automated meeting summaries, translated subtitles in more than 40 languages, noise cancellation, and camera enhancements for video conferencing.

“AI is no longer a future technology. It is becoming an everyday business tool,” ASUS said, noting that on-device AI can help improve productivity while maintaining privacy.

The ASUS ExpertBook P3 G2 targets administrators, hybrid workers, and budget-conscious professionals. Equipped with up to an AMD Ryzen 7 processor and an NPU capable of up to 39 TOPS, the laptop is designed to support video conferencing, multitasking, document management, and AI-assisted workflows.

Like the P5 G2, the P3 G2 includes ASUS AI ExpertMeet and supports up to 96GB of memory and 6TB of storage, making it suitable for organizations managing large databases, files, and digital assets.

The introduction of the new ExpertBook models comes as Philippine organizations continue to explore AI adoption across customer service, operations, and workplace productivity. Demand for AI-capable PCs is expected to grow as businesses look for ways to automate routine tasks while keeping data secure and compliant with corporate policies.

ASUS said the MyExpert AI platform, which includes AI chat, writing assistance, and email management tools, will roll out to select ASUS ExpertBook models in the Philippines later this year.
