Tech-enabled logistics company Ninja Van Philippines has partnered with Universal Robina Corp. (URC) to streamline the distribution of URC’s products in South Luzon.

The collaboration will tap into Ninja Van’s flagship B2B logistics service, Ninja Restock, to improve delivery to retail outlets ranging from large malls to small neighborhood stores.

“Ninja Restock helps fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies like URC navigate evolving retail distribution needs,” said Vin Perez, country head, Ninja Van Philippines. “Traditional models struggle with inefficiencies, especially when serving smaller retail doors like drugstores and groceries.”

Under the partnership, Ninja Restock co-loads deliveries, allowing smaller shipments to be sent without waiting to fill a full truckload.

“Even if it’s just one case or pallet, we can deliver quickly and efficiently by sharing truck space,” Perez said.

“At URC, we embrace technology to enhance every stage of our operations, from supply chain to retail,” said Irwin Lee, president and CEO of URC during a visit to Ninja Van’s Cabuyao warehouse.

The logistics company also introduced a trial scan-to-print technology to reduce sorting errors. Each product box or case is assigned a unique tracking ID, automating its routing to the correct destination.

“This ensures real-time visibility for shippers and enables better planning for future deliveries,” Perez said.
