Kazuhiro Gomi, president and CEO of NTT Research Inc., is one of the key speakers at PLDT Enterprise’s annual Philippine Digital Convention (PH Digicon) to be held online Oct. 28-30.
In a plenary session, Gomi, who has been with the Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp. (NTT) Group for 35 years, is scheduled to speak about “The Impact of Research and Innovation” drawing from his extensive experience and expertise in the field of fundamental and high-impact research.
Gomi joined NTT Ltd., a Japanese telecommunications company, in 1985 and conducted research and development on voice recognition-related technology. In 1998, he became the director of NTT Cyber Communications Laboratory Group of General Planning. Before assuming his current post with NTT Research, he was the president and CEO of NTT America Inc.
