TransUnion, a global information and insights company, has appointed Peter Faulhaber as president and CEO of TransUnion Philippines. He will oversee operations in the country under the guidance of Marie Claire Lim Moore, Asia-Pacific regional president at TransUnion, and will report to the Board of TransUnion Philippines.
Faulhaber brings more than 20 years of experience in global banking, having held leadership roles across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. He spent the past six years in the Philippines, most recently serving as head of wealth and personal banking at HSBC Philippines. During his tenure, he also served as vice chairman of HSBC Investment and Insurance Brokerage Philippines.
“We are excited to welcome Peter, and his appointment comes at an important time for TransUnion Philippines as we work to further enhance our services and solutions in a rapidly growing market with surging credit adoption and proliferating digital services,” said Lim Moore. “As a former user of TransUnion services, Peter is uniquely positioned to understand our business, the local Philippines market, and the needs of our customers.”
Faulhaber said he is eager to contribute to TransUnion’s mission of expanding financial access in the country. He holds a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD, one of the world’s largest graduate business schools.
“I am delighted and honored to join TransUnion, which is dedicated to driving financial inclusion in the Philippines through innovation and insights,” Faulhaber said. “Since it was established, TransUnion has enabled a large number of Filipino consumers to access the formal financial system, unlocking more potential and opportunities in businesses and communities.”
