The Philippines is gearing up to host its most ambitious quantum technology gathering yet — the Quantum Information Science and Technology Conference (QISTCon 2025) — happening from July 30 to August 1, 2025, in the vibrant island of Mactan, Cebu.

This three-day event is a collaborative effort led by the Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (PCIEERD), the Open Quantum Institute (GESDA), and the Quantum Computing Society of the Philippines (QCSP). Together, they aim to bring together leaders from business, academia, and government to chart the path for quantum innovation in the country and across the Indo-Pacific.
