CIBI Information, Inc., the Philippines’ homegrown credit bureau, has appointed Pia Arellano as its new president and CEO. With nearly three decades of experience in financial services, Arellano brings a strong record in expanding businesses and driving growth.

“Pia brings with her a proven track record of delivering growth and has extensive expertise in the credit bureau and financial services sector, making her the ideal leader to drive and accelerate CIBI’s transformative growth journey,” said Brahmal Vasudevan, founder and CEO of Creador, a key CIBI stakeholder.
Vasudevan added that they are optimistic about the company’s direction as it continues to offer innovative credit solutions to local institutions.
Arellano joins CIBI after her tenure as president and CEO of TransUnion Philippines and has held significant roles, including Visa’s head of Sales for the Philippines and Guam. She started her career at Citibank Philippines, launching key credit products that resonated in the market. She is a BS Economics cum laude graduate from the University of the Philippines.
