A digital fundraising drive has been launched to support those affected by #CarinaPH. MVP Group, which includes PLDT and Smart, invites customers, partners, and the public to scan the @mayaofficialph QR Code to make donations and assist impacted communities.
In response to the crisis, PLDT and Smart provided free calling services at the Concepcion Integrated School Evacuation Center in Marikina to help residents reconnect with their loved ones earlier today.
The MVP Group, through the Alagang Kapatid Foundation, Inc. (AKFI), served hot meals to evacuees at the same center.
With a strong commitment to malasakit, the Tulong Kapatid initiative, led by Manuel Pangilinan, will continue collaborating with local government units and emergency response teams. Plans are underway to distribute relief goods and establish additional free calling and charging stations in other #CarinaPH-affected areas as soon as it is safe to do so.
