PLDT Enterprise, the corporate business arm of PLDT Inc., has partnered with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to provide essential digital tools and support to help small businesses compete in an increasingly digital economy.

Through the ongoing MSME Day Roadshows, PLDT Enterprise and DTI are bringing micro businesses access to digital training, stable internet connectivity, and mentorship from industry experts. These roadshows offer MSMEs a platform to showcase their products while equipping them with tools to navigate the digital market effectively.

“Through our ongoing MSME Day roadshows, we’re providing businesses of all sizes with the support and digital solutions they need to reach new markets and drive sustainable growth,” Euan Toralballa, head of Small and Micro Business at PLDT Enterprise, said in a media release. “Our partnership with DTI is crucial in scaling these efforts nationwide, ensuring that even the smallest businesses have the resources they need to thrive in today’s digital-first economy.”

Key sessions at the MSME Day events focused on financial decision-making, online safety, and the basics of artificial intelligence. Business owners learned practical strategies to manage their resources, protect their online presence, and explore digital tools to expand their market reach. Industry experts also provided insights into e-commerce strategies, intellectual property rights, and online sales regulations.

The MSME Day events, held in cities such as Iloilo and Dipolog, are set to reach more areas like Pampanga and General Santos City. PLDT Enterprise hopes that through this ongoing initiative, small businesses will become more resilient and competitive.
