POCO, a tech brand, has launched the POCO X8s in the Philippines, built with a 6,330mAh battery and 100W fast charging with a compact 6.35-inch screen. The company also announced local prices for the POCO X8.
The X8s measures 8.06mm thick and weighs 187 grams. Its battery uses 16% silicon content, fitting a large capacity into a body designed for one-handed use. It also supports 22.5W reverse charging to power compatible devices.
The phone’s AMOLED screen adjusts its refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz, balancing smooth movement with lower power use. POCO lists peak brightness at up to 3,500 nits to help users see the screen in direct sunlight.
For photos, the X8s combines a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2.5x zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. These provide options for everyday shots, distant subjects, and wider scenes.
A Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip handles apps and multitasking, while POCO’s 3D IceLoop cooling system manages heat during demanding tasks. An ultrasonic fingerprint sensor supports unlocking with wet fingers.
