The Quezon City government has entered into a partnership with Ninja Van Philippines, a tech-enabled express logistics company, to provide essential support to local businesses, particularly those involved in e-commerce.

The partnership will focus on developing programs to upskill local entrepreneurs and boost their operations. Through Ninja Van’s logistics solutions, such as Ninja Fulfillment and Ninja Restock, MSMEs can optimize their supply chains and reduce operational costs.

The MOU was signed by Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte and key officials from Ninja Van Philippines, including Jose Alvin Perez, the country head, and Sabina Lopez-Vergara, chief commercial officer. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Claro Paulo Ortiz, head of Legal, Security, and Public Affairs at Ninja Van Philippines, and Mona Celine Marie Yap, head of the QC-Small Businesses and Cooperatives Development Promotions Office (SBCDPO).

“The Quezon City government recognizes the transformative power of interconnectivity and technology as drivers of a responsive government,” Belmonte said. “We are excited to work with Ninja Van Philippines to harness technology and innovation to serve our constituents better.”

The collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), aims to strengthen the city’s micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by leveraging technology and logistics solutions.

“Ninja Van recognizes the significant role of reliable and efficient logistics in nation-building. We are proud to have found a partner in the Quezon City government who shares the same commitment to empowering local businesses,” Perez said.

This collaboration is part of Ninja Van’s broader effort to support MSMEs across the Philippines, having previously partnered with the Department of Trade and Industry and other local governments to promote business continuity and the ease of delivery services.
