Ninja Van Philippines has launched Ninja Restock, a B2B resupply service to support businesses of all sizes in scaling operations across the Philippines.

Leveraging a broad logistics network that spans from Batanes to Tawi-Tawi, the service offers flexible restocking solutions, regardless of a business’s inventory size or delivery frequency.

“One of the primary challenges faced by growing businesses in the Philippines is timely restocking of high-demand items and stock transfer between locations,” said Jose Alvin Perez, country head of Ninja Van Philippines.

Ninja Restock addresses these challenges by consolidating smaller shipments into cost-efficient less-than-truckload (LTL) deliveries, resulting in significant cost savings.

One example of Ninja Restock’s impact is its partnership with Pickup Coffee. The service streamlined Pickup Coffee’s replenishment process, leading to a 20% reduction in delivery costs and a 10% recovery in revenue that would have been lost due to out-of-stock issues. The service also facilitated Pickup Coffee’s expansion, enabling the opening of 30 new outlets outside Metro Manila within three months.

Logistical challenges

Perez noted the logistical difficulties businesses encounter when operating outside Luzon, particularly in Visayas and Mindanao, where regular restocking schedules are challenging. Ninja Restock’s nationwide coverage, which includes interisland deliveries, addresses these issues, providing consistent support for businesses like Pickup Coffee.

Ninja Van’s recent white paper, “From Shelves to Shoppers: The Art of Seamless Logistics,” underscores the importance of efficient logistics in retail success, highlighting how Ninja Restock is helping businesses navigate inventory challenges in a dynamic retail environment. Since its launch in April 2024, Ninja Restock has proven to be a valuable tool for MSMEs across the Philippines.
