realme Philippines is giving consumers an early look at the realme C100 Series ahead of its June 18 launch, with battery life and durability among its main features.
The lineup includes the realme C100 with an 8000mAh battery and the realme C100i with a 7000mAh battery. The smartphones are designed for people who spend hours gaming, streaming videos, browsing social media, and messaging throughout the day without needing to recharge often.
Both models promise to provide up to 1.5 days of use on a single charge. The batteries are designed to last, with the realme C100 expected to maintain at least 80% of its battery capacity after seven years of daily charging, while the C100i is rated for up to six years.
The two smartphones also come with ArmorShell Protection and MIL-STD-810H military-grade shock resistance certification. According to realme, the devices can survive drops of up to two meters.
The realme C100 carries an IP69 rating for protection against dust, water immersion, and high-pressure water jets. The realme C100i has an IP64 rating, which protects against dust and everyday splashes.
For design, the realme C100 will be available in Glory White, Endurance Brown, and Victory Purple. The colors feature the company’s Blooming Design finish, which changes appearance depending on how light hits the surface. The realme C100i will come in Dawn Purple and Dusk Gray.
Bigger batteries are becoming more common as smartphones take on more daily tasks, from work and online classes to entertainment, banking, and digital payments. Longer battery life can mean fewer charging breaks and a longer lifespan for the device.
realme Philippines will announce the pricing, full specifications, and availability of the C100 Series during a livestream on its official Facebook page on June 18.
