Rocket Software, a software development firm, has introduced new AI-driven tools to improve the integration of mainframe systems with cloud environments. These new features incorporate generative AI (GenAI) and automation, enabling businesses to enhance the use of their essential applications and data in the cloud.

A recent survey by Forrester, commissioned by Rocket Software, shows that 66% of businesses have seen improved efficiency in their IT modernization efforts thanks to AI.

“Industries are feeling the pressure to focus on decision-making for better operational performance,” Michael Curry, president of Data Modernization at Rocket Software, said in a statement. “Our latest solutions speed up the understanding of complex applications and boost productivity.”

The company has rolled out several tools to help businesses modernize, including Rocket Content Smart Chat, which offers a secure AI-powered interface for accessing and managing sensitive documents. The Rocket Enterprise Suite, another new addition, uses AI to assist developers in analyzing code, making the shift to cloud-native environments smoother.

“Our experience allows us to help businesses get more value from their key applications while ensuring their operations are ready for the future,” Curry said.

These advancements build on Rocket Software’s existing Hybrid Cloud offerings, such as Rocket Data Intelligence and Rocket Cloud Connector, strengthening its ability to support businesses in real-time data management and modernization.
